Telcordia Conference & Learning Center is located in suburban Lisle, Illinois, approximately 20 miles southwest of O'Hare Airport, 20 miles northwest of Midway Airport, and 25 miles west of downtown Chicago. Airport Limousine Service Limousine service is a common method of ground transportation in the Chicago suburban area. Limousine companies offering discounted rates for shared rides to/from Telcordia Technologies are My Chauffeur - American Limousine (847-376-6100) and Naperville Chauffeuring Ltd. (630-357-5255). Reservations are strongly encouraged. Airport Taxi Service Airport taxi service is typically more costly than limousine service in the Chicago suburbs. Fares are approximately 1-1/2 times the meter rate, plus tolls. Metra Train — Chicago/Lisle From Union Station in Chicago, board the Burlington Northern westbound train that makes scheduled stops in Lisle. Call ahead for a taxi to meet you at the Lisle train depot: Universal Taxi (630-617-5400), American Taxi (847-255-9614) or Courtesy Cab (630-968-1323). Airport Travel Time Travel time between Lisle and either airport is typically 30-45 minutes. However, when you are traveling to O'Hare or Midway Airports for a flight departure, you should allow approximately 2 hours between your departure time from Lisle and your flight time. From O'Hare Airport or the North: Exit airport (I-90) to I-294 South ("to Indiana"). Take I-294 South to I-88 West ("to Aurora"). Proceed on I-88 West to Route 53 South. Continue on Route 53 South for approximately 3 miles to Summerhill Drive. Turn right into Telcordia Technologies campus. From Midway Airport: Exit airport left(north) to Cicero Ave. North (Route 50). Take Cicero to I-55 South ("to St. Louis"). Take I-55 South to I-355 North. Exit at 63rd St./Hobson Rd. and turn left (west). Continue on Hobson for approximately 1 - 1/2 miles to Route 53. Turn right (north)on route 53. Continue on Route 53 North for approximately 1 mile to Summerhill Drive. Turn left into Telcordia Technologies campus. From the South: Take I-294 North to I-55 South. Follow directions from Midway Airport (above). From the East: Take I-290 West (Eisenhower Expressway "to Western Suburbs") to I-88 West ("to Aurora"). Follow directions from O'Hare Airport (above). From the West: Take I-88 East. Exit at Naperville Rd. There is no southbound exit at Route 53. Turn right (south) onto Naperville Road, which becomes Naper Boulevard. Take Naper Boulevard to Maple/Chicago Avenue. Turn left (east) on Maple/Chicago Avenue to Route 53. Turn right (south) on Route 53 and continue for approximately 1 mile to Summerhill Drive. Turn right into Telcordia Technologies campus. Parking Free parking is available on site. |
